Well you know what when we become to fat for our own good we die and that is what will happen. Fat people will keep on eating and dieing young. Its evolution . The people who know what to eat to keep them healthy will live longer

Bahhh its all crap i love mayo and rare steak and bacon. Give me a huge lobster tail soaked in garlic butter with lemon. I have weighed in at 160 and 5"10 tall since i was seventeen and i eat what i want. As far as dying young. Well my great grandmother ate bacon/sausage with gravy and bisciuts for breakfast every morning and smoket two packs of camel non filters a day and died of natural causes when shen was 96. My grandfather did the same and died at 98.

Ermmm the whole carb diet and fad diets for that matter are not healthy. If you look at them they inhibit things from your diet. Carbs are not bad, in fact they are the energy the brain uses. Its all the excess we eat here that makes things so bad. The excess sugars, salts, and fats.

Same thing with LDL and HDL cholesterol. Its just a matter of what and how you eat, along with your daily activity. I find that eating healthy and being conscious of what you put into your body will help dramatically. For instance I have been soft drink free for over 2 years now and I am extremely gym oriented and man has it helped alot. That and going to read at barnes and nobles health section really put things into perspective.

And of course you can not deny genetics. Some people just hit the jackpot.

I just ask for no Mayo if I order anything that may come with it. I never really liked the taste.

I didn't read the whole thread, but I'd just like to say that I, for one, like to dip my french fries in mayo. Miracle Whip Sucks.

One way of looking at the mayo thing is, if your sandwich has half the calories just from mayo, you could have 2 sandwiches without mayo for the same calories! - great if you really are hungry.

This is just info, I'm not for or against mayo.
